Parrot Heads...remember the oath you took when you first joined? It's time to make good on your promise! The final cleanup of 2019 is upon us and we're planning something different this time!
We meet at Nora Patterson Bay Island Park at 10:00 am Saturday morning and either boat to Edwards Island, or clean Nora Patterson Park. This is a keet-friendly event. The first 25 people to sign up will receive an International Coastal Cleanup tee shirt.
We will be holding a special contest at this cleanup!
AFTER the cleanup, rather than staying for a cookout, we will be meeting at the Old Salty Dog on Siesta Key for drinks and snacks. Everyone who participates in the cleanup is welcome to enjoy the appetizers, compliments of the club. (If you can't make it to the cleanup, you can still join us at the Old Salty Dog!)
If we have 25 people, the Old Salty Dog will offer Happy Hour pricing on drinks, so grab a friend and let's live up to our oath to “Cleeeeeeean the Beaches” and make our environment a bit better for all.
