JOIN OUR TEAM!!! Please click here http://act.alz.org/goto/SBPHC2019 and sign up! If you raise $100.00 you will receive a commemorative t-shirt to wear with pride at the Walk. You do not have to actually walk to participate, but please sign up & show up...we need your support. If you are unable to join us on November 16th, you can still register and raise money for this worthy cause.

SBPHC has been participating in the walk since 1996; It is the BIGGEST charity our Club supports. Anyone can walk; young, old, Parrot Head or not. This is a Keet-friendly event - a great opportunity to have the next generation involved in our efforts. Let's get out there and show Sarasota County how we "Party with a Purpose" in honor of our friend, Patti Myles, and in solidarity with Gary Lane and all of the folks who have/had a loved one stricken with this horrible disease.

We will have several fundraising events that benefit our team: Happy Hour in October and November will have 50/50 raffles, and a Chinese raffle at October's social meeting, will all benefit the team. Donations of raffle items and baskets are appreciated! Additional fundraising events will include our popular Comedy Night plus a few new surprises. Don't forget the "Patti Myles Open," our annual Golf Tournament, to be held on October 12, 2019 at Bobby Jones Golf Course with an 8am shot gun start. Please see Mike Fontaine and his committee for details.

Team Members: We need help with the following:

  • acquiring items for baskets
  • putting the baskets together & setting them up at the social and golf outing
  • selling raffle tickets at events
  • set-up, cooking, cleanup at the BBQ after the golf outing
  • set-up and coordination at the Walk

There's always plenty to do! Many hands make light work! Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.
