In 1992, Air Margaritaville was formed as a tribute to Jimmy Buffett. It's impossible to stand still during these shows; they take on the flavor of a carnival as PHolks take a break from their computers and cell phones to the relaxed but exciting world of boats, beaches, bars, and ballads.
The band will be playing at the Venice Community Center on Saturday, March 9th at 7:00pm. Admission is general, so if we want to sit together we need to line up together when the doors open at 6pm...but beforehand, we'll be tailgating!! That's right, get there anytime after 1pm on show day and let's tailgate like Jimmy can see us from his tiki bar in heaven. Bring your own EVERYTHING - a snack or shot to pass around is optional but appreciated. The board will go all out with a canopy, grill, tables, and decorations. Parrot Head attire is mandatory, bring whatever extras you'd like. There will be no electrical power available, so if you have a generator, bring it.
This is in a residential neigborhood, so please be respectful with the noise level. The area must be cleaned up prior to the show, please be courteous to the county workers. More details as we get closer.
This is a ticketed event - you are responsible for getting your own tickets. You can purchase them up to noon on show day, unless they sell out first.
